Half Acre Home has its origins in Silver Falls State Park, 20-some scenic
 
miles south of Half Acre Home itself. In May of 2009, The Friends of Silver Falls welcomed Half Acre Home preserves into the Friends’ Nature Store select inventory, helping bring this company to fruition. It is my personal belief that preserving Earth’s scenic and wild places is tantamount to the health of human serenity and I believe a positive global difference can begin locally when we support our treasured parks.
     40% of the purchase price of every jar of Half Acre Home preserves bought from the Friends of Silver Falls Nature Store goes to the Friends of Silver Falls; a non-profit, advocate organization providing interpretive and volunteer services including nature walks and natural history programs for school groups and visitors from around the world. Silver Falls State Park is a crown jewel in Oregon’s State Park system. Half Acre Home is honored to have a hand in protecting it’s well being.

being active, healthy individuals. How better to support our youth by encouraging healthy, low-sugar meal habits alongside the physical activity and social skills that team sports provide?

I am pleased to expand the Half Acre Home line of low-sugar preserves with one of Nature’s most tantalizing tastes.
